The story of my "socks"

Another very interesting entry on this blog. This time, very surprisingly i've aimed my "Socks". Amazed ?? At the end u'll be njoying it.

It was our trip day i.e. 30th of nov i guess (refer to the just previous post), when i washed my socks for the last time in this college. Actually, 'Accidently', and 'aback' a thought came 2 my mind. A thought jo ki 'genuinely' isse pehle kabhi nahi aayi thi in my mind. And it was to wash my clothes, especially my socks, coz i was goin on a college trip. And all the people who were accomnying me, were having very clean socks i guess. Coz more than 75% of them were with their girlfriends ;). Aur shayad this was the only reason i neva thought of washing my socks before this. Khair 30th of november 2008 was the day i washed my socks for the last time. At this moment a famous dialogue of my all time fav movie "Andaz Apna Apna" comes 2 my mind .... "Wo din hai, aur aaj ka din hai, mere socks kabhi saaf hi nahi huye".

During my holidays, me with 4 or 5 of my friends were satying here in the hostel for the IEEE classes. Now, by god's grace, my slippers were now almost dead (Broken into nearly 3 pieces), and as i was about to go to home on nearly 15th dec, i thought ......Kon Khareede Chappal ab...ghar chalo aish maarenge....tab tak i'll manage my days with my shoes or the slipper of my friends. Waise bhi m well known as 'chappal chor' in my hostel. Only some of the people in hostel knows this fact and they are Puneet, Prateek, Nitin, Ashutosh, Shubham etc, Kyunki they are the sufferers ;).

Coming to the point, those were the days i was having 4 set of socks with me. And from the start of trip, i.e. 30th of dec to the time i went bak to home, i.e. 15th of dec, i used those 4 set of socks. Amongst those 4 sets, Two were the real sets, and the rest 2 sets were having unmatched socks ;). Dun get amazed, its my hobby to wear socks of different colour in both legs. So those 4 sets of socks were suffered by me in those 17 days i was in the college. Being a college student and that too B.Tech, I preferred not to take those socks with me to home. Main ab itna badaa to ho hi gaya tha ki khud socks wash kar sakun. Thats y i kept 3 of the sets here, in fact threw them below my study table, and wore the rest 1 set and went back to home. The time i reached my home, I was all flooded with the bows and arrows of my papa and maa about my living style here. Now u all wud be thinking, unhe kaise pataa chalaa....its simple, my clothes which i was wearing and it was even much less than the clothes of a 'Jamadaar' who cleans the mainholes and above all my "Socks", the lead actor of this movie, it worked as a catalyst to my maa n papa. Khair us samay to maine sambhaal liya situation ko. Phir when the holidays were goin to be o'er papa purchased two more sets off socks for his "Smart" son. Now i was having 1+2+3=6 sets with me amongst which 3 of them were here only below my study table, and the rest three which i was bringing from my home, were brand new and in other words, 'clean' in a way. College days started and thus i started wearing these clean socks one after other alternately. Mon-set1...tue-set2....wed-set3....thu-set1....fri-set2....sat-set3, to maintain the balance ;). But everything has a limit. It was nearly 30th jan when i stopped wearing these socks coz their smell was now unbearable for me also :(. Now what to do, Washing was not the solution :P. So i remembered of the socks which were lying below my study table ;). Akhir unki baari phir se aa hi gyii. During these past one and half months, their smell were a bit reduced. So i could manage. But for how longggggggggg ????? It was day before yesterday, i.e. monday when in the compilers lab, Varun was sitting beside me and told, "ye sale janwaro ki tarah moje kiske mehek rahe hain" ?? And mathur supported him. Khair i alwaz support truth and speak truth. So i told them proudly "Its mine janemann". And alassss..Shreya also told "dho le sach me buri tarah smell kar rahe hain". It was the time, i thought yar iski jagah i should have used other sets. But then i thought, Oh my god, this's the cleanest set of socks i have today. And jo set itne clean hain and my DEO Of Rs150 (I purchased DEO for the first time in my life, in fact i decided to use DEO for the first time in my life this sem), also couldn't kill their smell, althought i sprayed the Deo to each and every corner of that set of socks, then its the time Pani sar ke upar jaa chuka hai :(. Yaar ab to u should definitely clean ur socks otherwise, one day u'll be killed by the smell of ur own socks..wo kehte hain na "Aasteen ka saanp" hi maar deta hai hamesha :D. It was that lab only when i remembered the previous 10 days when, if any1 used to come to my room, Ek dialogue jaroor kehta tha "Yaar yahan aaspaas koi jaanwar maraa hai kya"??? And then i decided...Kuch bhi ho jaye ab to i have to wash my socks. But sochne aur karne me bohot difference hoti hai. I thought on monday morning and performed the job yesterday night,i.e. 11th of feb 0030 hrs, huhhhhhhhh. Two records simultaneously......One by Pathans and the other by me. Now everything is alright...No smell from my room and no wastage of Deodrant on my socks. It is only meant for my body now ;). Have a look below :

And if god is with me, then i wont let this situation come again ever ................................................................................................................but after B.Tech. Yaar ;). U can leave comments on this post or can share any of ur personal experience or record of this kind....like Was there any time u didn't take bath for a huge time span, or what is the extent upto which u've made ur room, a Zoological garden.
